Rev. Laura Starr Ramos has been in the hospitality industry since she was 18 and earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Hospitality & Tourism from Virginia Tech. She then worked in every area from restaurants to hotels to event planning and then in 2015 switched to officiating weddings. Weddings are truly the most special of days and Laura loves working with couples to create the perfect ceremony. She has officiated weddings for a wide variety of couples, including LGBTQ+, interfaith and bilingually in English and Spanish. She believes that any two people should be able to get married.
When not officiating, Rev. Starr Ramos works full time in the financial industry and volunteers with local nonprofits that focus on domestic abuse, homelessness, hunger, children and entrepreneurship. She is happily married with two grown and flown sons.
